Abre Tu Boca started in a single room in Todos Santos. On a space of floor cleared out for what was called an open stage. And with a few chairs pulled into a circle that expanded week after week.

It began as project. But it turned into a movement. And now it’s moving across borders. Across languages. Across cities where the same question rises:

What happens when people speak from the center of themselves… together?

What “Global” Means

Season 5 is the first Global Season.

- Writing circles are reopening in Todos Santos.
- Online circles launch next.
- The Abre Tu Boca Substack will now publish the collective voice each week.
- Living Room Sessions will be emerging in new cities, hosted by those who feel called.
- In early 2026, Abre Tu Boca will open the Global Facilitator Training for those called to carry this work in their own communities.

Where the Work Has Already Traveled

This work grows by direct transmission — voice to voice. Already it has lived in:

  • Leipzig, Germany

    Where the first-ever four-language circle took place (German, English, French, Spanish).

  • Vienna, Austria

    A six-day pop-up residency exploring collective word play and place-based writing, culminating in an open stage.

  • Medellín, Colombia

    Where Parts Divided was developed through site-specific listening and participatory performance.

  • The Dominican Republic

    Injecting living language inside a five-day immersion, with morning writing prompts, daily word play activations, and a closing writing circle.

  • Todos Santos, Mexico

    Where the project was born, a community has grown, and where the Method has been refined for over three years.
