Application Process & Key Dates
Training Schedule
5-week live online training · Sundays · March 22 – April 19, 2026
Live via Zoom · 2.5 hours each week (movement break included) · same training time every Sunday
Fixed Training Time (local equivalents):
• 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM Los Angeles / Todos Santos
• 11:00 AM – 1:30 PM Mexico City
• 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM New York
• 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM Paris
Note for Paris/Central Europe: your local start time shifts to 7:00 PM – 9:30 PM beginning March 29 due to daylight saving changes. Calendar invitations automatically adjust to your local time zone upon enrollment.
Live participation is strongly encouraged to support the cumulative nature of the Method. Sessions are recorded, and occasional absences can be supported.
What Else Is Included
Practice Track (Method Training)
Designed for writers, artists, facilitators, and individuals who want to develop a more natural, embodied, perception-based relationship with writing and language.
Includes:
• 5 live training sessions (Sundays)
• One 45-minute 1:1 writing development session with Amanda (scheduled during or shortly after the 5-week window)
• Two optional Abre Tu Boca writing circles (attend during or after the training window)
Facilitator Track (Method + Facilitation Certification Path)
For those preparing to carry Abre Tu Boca into community through facilitation.
Includes:
• Everything in the Practice Track plus
• Two observed Abre Tu Boca facilitation circles (your supported launch into holding circles)
• Two additional Facilitator Transmission Sessions (~45 min each) during the training period (scheduled collaboratively) to strengthen facilitator preparation and reflect the evolving depth of the training.
Cohort Size & Review
Cohort size: up to 15 participants
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis until the cohort is filled.
If accepted, you’ll receive an email with a private enrollment link and instructions.
Enrollment & Payment (After Acceptance)
To confirm your seat, accepted applicants submit a deposit within 5 days of acceptance.
Deposits:
• Practice Track: $300 USD
• Facilitator Track: $500 USD
Remaining tuition due by March 15, 2026.
Payment plans are available by request.
How payment works: accepted participants receive a private enrollment link to pay online (credit/debit card and PayPal). Bank transfer options are available upon request.
Scholarships (Limited)
A limited number of partial, need-based scholarships are available per cohort (typically 10–30%). Requests are reviewed as part of the application.
