Launch Season

The Season Begins Before the Circles Reopen.

This month we awaken the voice — individually and collectively. And this time the mouth will open even wider.

Event Lineup

  • Unhinged

A public talk series by Amanda Aileen Fisher, founder of Abre Tu Boca.

    Friday, Nov 21 · 5:30PM · Panteón 19

Topic 01: Follow Your Curiosity & Your Fear. They lead you to what you’re meant to create.

There are moments when the mind tightens — when creativity gets small, careful, rehearsed. And then there are moments when something inside wants to open. UNHINGED is where we loosen the grip.

In this first talk of the series, Amanda will speak and lead a talk on the two compass points of creativity: Curiosity and Fear.

  • Writing Safari

    Sunday, Nov 23 · 11:00–12:30PM · Plaza Francisco I. Madero

Become the writer on the sidewalk bench who sits watching scenes unfold, penning them into your notebook. A series of three, ten-minute prompts to sharpen your attention, open your senses, and write what is around you. At the end, we gather to read aloud, then DJ one sentence each into a collective piece.

This is writing in the wild — place-based, character-driven, a little weird, a lot of fun.

Guided by Abre Tu Boca Founder, Amanda Aileen Fisher

  • The First Living Room Session

    Tuesday, Nov 25 · 5–7PM · RSVP at abretuboca.org/reserve

An intimate gathering where you can ask Amanda anything, and we enter a real conversation about creativity, fear, practice, expression, and the inner voice. We share lightly from our own stories too — how the work lives in us, why we make it, and what opens when we listen to ourselves more honestly. Hosted in the home of Founding Member Charlotte Eulette. Space is intentionally limited; RSVP for the pin.

  • Abre Tu Boca Occupies Dance Lab (with Zoë Dearborn)

    Friday, Nov 28 · 4:30–6PM · Cuatro Vientos, Todos Santos, B.C.S. Mexico

We step into Zoë's long-standing Dance Lab — a full-body, expressive-arts movement journey through the chakras. Abre Tu Boca enters with a specific intention: to attune especially to the solar plexus and throat, the body’s centers of power and expression. A little word-play will be woven in as we receive Zoë’s complete, embodied container.

  • Poetic Portraits (Amanda Aileen Fisher & César Perales)

Sunday, Nov 30 · 11:00–1:00PM · Limited space · Final details & ticket link sent to RSVPs

A guided exploration of perception and presence through both writing and drawing. Co-guided by Amanda & visual artist César Perales in their shared home studio. First debuted during Abre Tu Boca’s summer residency in Vienna — now deepening into training the eye, hand, and inner witness.

  • Then, the Return of the Writing Circles

    Level One · The Practice
Inner voice activation and writing in community. Where the Method lives in real time, and where listening becomes perception.

This is the foundation of Abre Tu Boca — the gathering that began the Revolution.

In-person circles reopen in phases in Todos Santos, with online circles launching next so that you can join from anywhere in the world.

Details – date, time, place – will be dropped on Substack. Subscribe at abretuboca.substack.comto get notified.

The Abre Tu Boca Global Facilitation Training opens in early 2026.
